9th Match of WPL 2023 played between Capitali di Delhi vs Giganti del Gujarat at DY Patil Stadium. GG won the toss and opted to bat first. In the 20 overs, by losing 9 wickets GG could made the target of only 105 runs. In return DC conquered the target just in 7.1 overs without losing any wicket and registered their third victory in the series. Earlier to this DC played three matches in which they won two matches against RCB e UPW and lost one match against MI.

DC ranked 2nd position on the table points with 6 points while GG is on 4th place with their only single victory in the season. 

GG started to lose the wickets from the first ball itself. DC’s 100 total runs contributed by Harleen Deol (20), Kim Garth (32), Georgia Vareham (22) and Tanuja Kanwar (13). Marizanne Kapp took the 4 wickets of GG in 3 overs. Shikha Pandey too 3 wickets.
