Indian Premier League ben noto come IPL is all set to kickstart from 31st March 2023 and will continue till 28th May 2023. The inaugural match of this season will be played between Chennai Super King (CSK) vs Titani del Gujarat (GT). The auction for this season was held on 23rd December 2022 at Grand Hyatt in Kochi, town of Kerala. A total of 10 Teams will compete against each other in Group A and Group B in the IPL 2023.

Purse and Team Details
CSK went into the auction with the purse of ₹ 20.54 di credito and made shocking selections for this season. In total 25 players were selected for the squad out of which 17 players are Indian and 8 are the overseas players. CSK still have a purse of ₹1.5 Cr remaining with them.

Strength of the CSK
CSK already has the number of experienced players in the Team, MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Moeen Ali. In this season CSK bought Ben Strokes as well, his performance in the T20 World Cup proven that he was behind the England Team for their big occasions. Ben addition to the Team will add extra Strength.
Ben’s is top order batter and can bat anywhere. CSK now has the option to lead him to the opener with Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Weakness of the CSK
CSK has the good spinners in form of Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner and Maheesh Theekshana. However, on the pitches that offer even pace and bounce will not be much help for the spinners. On pitches like this, wrist spinners can perform well. The Team has only one option with them Prashant Solanki, who is inexperienced. This can be the weakness for CSK in this season
Performance History of CSK since it started in 2008
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ha vinto il IPL Title four times in 2010, 2011, 2018 e 2021 sotto il captaincy of MS Dhoni. They have the highest win percentage (58.98%) of the matches among all the Teams in the IPL. Their overall IPL record seems good, however, in the season of 2016, 2017, for two years, CSK was banned from the IPL due to the involvement of its owners in 2013 IPL betting case. In 2018, CSK made the come back and capture the title in their name once again after 2011.
